4 Exercise Points For The Working Mom

With the pressures of daily life, sometimes working out regularly can become difficult for a working mom. I know it because I am a working mother myself. Even before I was married, I was working. The excessive stress at the office, coupled with the stress of taking care of my family, sometimes make it impossible for me to stick to my weight loss plan.

That said, I don’t let stress become an excuse for avoiding exercises altogether! Between all of us, we have 24 hours to fit all of our daily activites. If we have the time to do these activities, how can you not find time to workout? I mean you find time to brush your teeth and take a shower? Why do you do these? Because they are part of your day-to-day routine. You know that if you don’t brush your teeth regularly, you will suffer from tooth decay. Same can be said about not showering. You can get skin diseases. However, you will become fat if you don’t excerise on a regular basis?

It is not right to use the ‘lack of time’ as an excuse for avoiding exercises. Truthfully: you are probably either scared of exercises or just don’t know where to start! Either way, this article will help you accomplish your fitness goals!

1. Workout with a friend: If is not fun working out by yourself. However, you will likely start loving to do exercises if you workout with a friend! Plus seeing someone else working out in the gym will motivate you to continue with your exercise routine! Extra point if you workout with another working mom with the same fitness goals as you!

2. Get an IPOD: When you go to the gym, take an IPOD with you. This is a great way of kicking out the boredom out of your workout routine!

3. Do what you love: There are exercises that you probably don’t love to do; if you force yourself to do these exercises it is only a matter of time before you become bored with them! If, instead, you find exercises that you actually love, then it becomes easier!

4. Start out slow to win the race: If this is your first time exercising, it is only natural that you will be scared to hit the gym. Ignore people who say that you have to exercise daily in order to lose weight. Instead, start out small: start out by only working out for fifteen to twenty minutes per day, for two or three days a week. You can add more to your workout routine as your body grows accustom to it!
