Micro-Ionized Water Or Kangen Water – What It Is And Its Health Benefits!

Micro-Ionized Water or Kangen Water water popularity is increasing every day. More and more people are being exposed and are reaping the benefits of drinking alkaline or Kangen water. It is a simple system and easy to understand when the properties of the water that comes out of the water ionizer or Kangen water machine is demonstrated. There are also thousands of testimonials both in writing, blogs, articles, videos, audios and websites. There are various competitors, although I personally prefer the Enagic brand since most of my good experiences are directly on this brand (while most of the bad experiences or ineffective machines that I have personally seen are of the other brands. For now, I will not go into technical details, but it’s a matter of preferences, choice and experience.
A kangen water system works by taking standard tap water through an electrolysis process using platinum coated, titanium plates, which produces then separates alkaline water and acidic water. The alkaline, or Kangen water, is best for drinking, while the acidic water is most useful for cleaning and for personal hygiene applications like skin toning, hand washing, and improving skin and face tone. The molecular size of water is altered, called micro-clustering, when it goes through a Kangen water system. The microclustered molecules are about half the size of ordinary tap or bottled water, and is therefore more hydrating and gets absorbed faster and quicker by the body and its organs. The Japanese, recognizing the benefits of drinking Kangen water, have been drinking Kangen water for more than thirty years and may be one of the reasons, along with healthy diet, why they live longer accoring to a UN study. In addition to the superior hydrating properties of Kangen water, it is also a very powerful antioxidant – which can be demonstrated by using on ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) meter. Storng negative ORP reading attest to a highly antioxidant property that can not be achieved even by fresh juices, and definitely not by packaged products, even if they are claimed to be anti-oxidant. In my own experience, only freshly squeezed orange juice reads negative on an ORP meter (around -10mV to -50mV) while Kangen water ranges from -400mV through -900mV, making it hundreds of times more anti-oxidant. Antioxidants provide protection against the age related diseases and illnesses caused by free radicals. In fact, the Japanese Ministry of Health and Wellness acknowledged these and other healthful properties of Kangen water in the late 1980s by putting their stamp of approval on alkaline, negative ORP, microclustered Kangen water. Kangen water is recognized as water that has been ionized through a process of electrolysis and it is referred to as either alkalline water, ionized water, microclustered water, restructured water or simply Kangen water.
Although I personally recommend the Enagic brand, do your due diligence, ask for a live demo, try the water for a month or so to experience the health benefits, before you make the decision to acquire an ionizer or Kangen machine. Not all machines are effective, in fact, in my experience, only the Enagic machine lives up to my expectations and have provided proven results. Unfortunately, only Enagic distributors actively provide a “try-before-you-buy” business model. The competitions may be cheaper, but there is no way to test drive them without coughing up $2,000 or more. Also, the competition berates the network marketing distribution model of Enagic – but I would argue that this is one way to acquire a machine for FREE, since it will eventually pay for itself if an owner becomes an Kangen advocate and a distributor. At a minimum, the education that we Micro-Ionized Water or Kangen Water advocates provide is a valuable service, whether we make profit or not.
